I love fabric , and keep pieces for future projects, I use these in my paintings. Some are saved from my Nannas hoard as she was a keen maker & seamstress. As a child I loved opening up the dark wooden chest of my Mums , where folded swathes of material would sit in wait . This crazy Begonia ( beloved by my late father ) sits upon a piece of fabric that is always visible in my studio , the edge dated with the year of my birth .
